Initial Conditions: The above puppy will be sold with the following: Record booklet of all vaccinations, dewormings and a complete puppy physical by a licensed veterinarian or veterinarian specialist, a five generation pedigree, and this purchase agreement/warranty.
Your puppy has been fed exclusively with Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance Ultra-Premium (BLUE bag) dry dog food.
Buyer Responsibilities: With this purchase, buyer agrees to these conditions and limited guarantees ***
Buyer pays all crate, flight physical and shipping costs.
Buyer agrees to feed puppy high quality, age appropriate nutrition, and keep this dog at a healthy (thin) weight.
Buyer will provide humane housing, consistent veterinary care and maintain a current AAHA vaccination schedule (www.healthypet.com). Consult your veterinarian for their recommendations as required vaccinations, dewormings and heartworm treatments can vary per geographic region.
Buyer agrees to provide essential crate training and basic obedience training with moderate exercise for the first year of the dog's life. A puppy obedience class is highly recommeded.
Buyer will maintain this warranty for their records.
Non-Breeding Agreement: Buyer understands that they have purchased this puppy as a working gun dog/hunting companion/pet. This dog is not to be used for breeding without Breeder's knowledge or permission, under any conditions. Initial here __________
Spaying and Neutering: We do advise that all non-field trial pets be altered, but due to the overwhelming evidence and research showing the adverse affects of this procedure on growth plate development in canine athletes, unless this contract violates local or state mandated pet control ordinances, or this requirement places a lifestyle burden on the pet owner, we strongly advise waiting until this puppy is a year old prior to a spay or neuter procedure.
Registration: Seller will register this puppy with the American Kennel Club (AKC) with a limited edorsement. Buyers that have reserved a puppy may choose the dog's name with the kennel name "Hellfire" to be added somewhere in the name of the dog. Although they are usually done quickly, please allow up to sixty (60) days to process. Buyer will transfer ownership into their name within six months of receiving the dog's AKC registration form.
Rehoming of Dog: Buyer agrees they will not surrender this dog to any animal shelter or springer rescue group. If at any time in it's life this dog must be rehomed or relocated, and for any reason, Buyer will return this dog back to Breeder, and at their expense.
Resale of Dog: Buyer will give Seller fourteen (14) days notice via email, and right of first refusal via email, prior to listing this dog for sale to a third party.
Our Warranty: This warranty is valid to the original owner only. Should this dog during the first twenty four (24) months of it's life, be diagnosed with a disabling hip dysplasia, partial or full blindness rendering it unfit for recreational hunting or other sporting activity, Seller agrees to replace the dog with another of equal purchase value or refund half the original purchase price. Seller must be notified in writing with official ACVO/CERF, OFA or other specialist DVM diagnosis for our review, with proof of AKC number on the x-ray and spay/neuter in the event a defect is found. A dog found to have a physical defect does not have to be returned.
We make a significant effort and take precautions to temperament test all our puppies and match them with an appropriate family before they are placed, and stay in touch with our puppy families to make sure all is going well, but if a dog found to have an unsatisfactory temperament defect preventing the lifestyle and activity for which it was sold, it must be returned to us for a full evaluation. If found to be non-manmade it will be covered with the same warranty as physical defects.
The genetic health and temperament of your puppy is extremely important to our breeding program and we greatly value your feedback. If at any time during it's life, this dog develops a health or temperament disorder of any kind, we want to hear about it!
No Financial Responsibility: Other than the above limited warranty, Breeder assumes no financial responsibility or other liability for this dog after it leaves premises. Seller will not be held responsible for any viral/bacterial diseases due to buyers failure to vaccinate, or injuries/training damages sustained by hunting or sporting activities, or by pushing puppies too hard, too young (beyond what is considered normal activity) and ignoring "common sense" along the way. Seller will not be held accountable for manmade temperament issues such as gun shyness or man shyness due to lack of training or socialization.
Note: The AKC and CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) has raised the minumum age of agility entrants to 15 months old for a reason (puppy growth plates begin to close between the ages of 9-15 months old).
Breach of Contract: In the event of an "accidental" or unplanned breeding, we will not authorize an AKC liiter registration and Buyer will forfeit $4000 in damages for each unauthorized litter that constitutes a breach of this non-breeding contract.
Buyer's failure to honor this contract at the expense of the dog's physical well being, or through neglect, cruelty or abuse, will result in a civil dispute and reclamation of the dog.
