Springer Spaniel Breeders in Montana

Hellfire Kennel is situated on a scenic ranch in southwestern Montana with challenging varying terrains that include wide open high prairie meadows, rolling foothills with canyons and coulies, and an established douglas fir forest. Our backyard wildlife is abundant and includes everything from bountiful herds of elk, antelope and mule deer, cottontail rabbits and snow shoe hares, to hungarian partridge and two species of mountain grouse.

Hellfire is a registered kennel name with the AKC, and we are an accomplished and experienced field performance breeder. Our breeding philosophy centers around strong, talented, well bred field springers with outstanding pedigrees we have heavily researched. We linebreed on the great ones, outcrossing when necessary whilst always seeking genetic soundness through health test screening.

Our Hellfire breeding foundation began with a strong, very sound, and very beautiful bitch with an incredible pedigree going back to 2X NAFC NFC CNFC Saighton's Scud more than ten times. Since then we have been very fortunate as the gun dogs we enjoy shooting over have also produced some very talented field trial dogs including FC AFC CFC Hellfire's Fast Track MH MX AXJ CD VS, the 2005 National Open Gun's Award Winner.

Despite how few puppies we produce, our kennel's accomplishments continue to grow. In 2010 Hellfire produced the US High Point Puppy, the #2 US High Point Sire, and Hellfire dogs earned field champion and hunt test titles.
