"Navy" is a daughter of FC AFC Rolling Oaks High Chaparrel, a "twin" littermate of the 2005 National Open Guns Award winner FC AFC CFC Hellfire's Fast Track MH MX AXJ CD VS, and a half sister of the 2004 Canadian National Field Champion, Rolling Oaks Sumday Bud (Ray and Zeeza's sire), all very accomplished amateur owner/trained and handled trial champions that have demonstrated awesome noses and wonderful biddable temperaments.
Navy is a very nimble footed dog with a speedy but comfortable running style. She stays in gun range, is aggressive in cover and she flushes like a missile finding it's target! She has no noteworthy retrieving faults and a nice, natural to hand delivery. She is seasoned on rabbit, wild pheasant and hungarian partridge, and has amazed us with her brilliant nose. She can find birds other dogs just can't, was also blessed with incredible working endurance and about the nicest temperament you can find in this breed. She is a lovely, lovely, little gun dog.

In addition to her excellent field and hunting prowess, she loves to retrieve the 100 golf balls her boy tees off into the field every da y. She is a very forgiving, gentle dog with the patience of a saint.
Navy is our smallest female at around #37 and usually produces puppies of medium - small in size. Her sons are in the 35-45 pound range and her daughters are in the 30-35 pound range, although one is said to be a 40 pounder. They tend to be super CUTE, great house dogs, very biddable and strong retrievers with lovely soft mouths. Everybody always loves Navy puppies!
Several of Navy's puppies are in field performance homes (including the 2010 US High Point trial puppy), one does agility and obedience, but most are just really sound, healthy, well bred family gun dogs with gentle, affectionate temperaments.
We retained a super nice black and white daughter, the spitting image of her mother, named Haley from a 2009 Navy X Toby litter.
